Automotive Repair Specialist I

Location: Green Brook Township, New Jersey, United States; onsite at 106 Route 22 West. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays and includes office and outdoor work.

Salary: $29.60–$44.40 per hour. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is also offered.

What you will do

• Diagnose vehicles and perform mechanical and cosmetic repairs across vehicle systems.
• Inspect vehicles against hirify.global Quality Standards and complete state inspections when required.
• Manage repair orders, including labor, parts, and billing documentation.
• Use proprietary and universal software systems to support repair operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with 5S, environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Provide functional expertise and support to store associates and managers.

Requirements

• Complete hirify.global New Associate Orientation and Kronos Training for Hourly Associates.
• Read, interpret, and transcribe data accurately for record-keeping.
• Demonstrate strong multitasking, communication, active listening, and customer service skills.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods while working in office and outdoor environments.
• Follow hirify.global uniform standards and work safely around noise and changing weather conditions.
• Maintain applicable ASE certifications in steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning, electrical systems, engine repair, manual drivetrain and axles, engine performance, and automatic transmission/transaxle where required by state or local law.
