What you will do
- Support the design, planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of F-16 flight test and evaluation activities.
- Develop master test plans, schedules, performance measures, test strategies, and test-related documentation.
- Coordinate flight test requirements, equipment, aircraft assets, instrumentation, weapons, munitions, and support resources across government, engineering, logistics, and contractor organizations.
- Review flight test data, video, reports, deficiency reports, and watch items; assess anomalies and recommend corrective actions or testing decisions.
- Track test program costs, schedules, funding obligations, expenditures, and status reporting.
- Prepare and present briefings, meeting materials, reports, and documentation for customers, management, test agencies, and higher headquarters.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance required.
- Masterβs or doctoral degree in a related field with at least 20 years of relevant experience, including at least 12 years in the DoD; or a bachelorβs degree with at least 25 years of relevant experience, including 15 years in the DoD; or 30 years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications, including 20 years in the DoD.
- At least three years of experience planning or conducting military flight test programs.
- Expertise in planning, directing, and integrating test and evaluation functions for aeronautical weapons systems.
- Ability to support flight test activities on-site and travel within and outside the continental United States.
