What you will do

• Lead the project controls organization within the PMC team and serve as the primary project controls advisor to the client.
• Establish and govern project controls systems, processes, standards, reporting frameworks, and staffing.
• Integrate estimating, cost management, scheduling, risk management, change management, forecasting, and performance measurement.
• Integrate engineering, construction, CQV, startup, operational readiness, and GMP regulatory milestones into project reporting and dashboards.
• Provide executive leadership with performance assessments, forecasts, risk insights, recovery opportunities, and corrective actions.
• Oversee quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis and validate EPC/EPCM contractor cost, schedule, and performance reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business, finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of project controls experience, including leadership on large capital projects valued at $500M TIC or greater.
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other highly regulated industrial projects.
• Extensive knowledge of cost management, scheduling, forecasting, earned value management, risk management, change management, and performance measurement.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project controls teams, developing capital cost estimates, and advising senior project and executive stakeholders.
• Experience with quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis methodologies and tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in an Owner’s Representative, PMC, EPCM, or Integrated Project Management Team environment.
• AACEi certifications such as CCP, PSP, EVP, or PRMP, or equivalent credentials.
• Experience communicating complex project performance information to executive and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring project controls professionals and building high-performing teams in matrixed environments.
