Engineering Co-op Opportunities (MN)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota; full-time, in-person co-op from January to August or May to December.

Salary: $22.00–$28.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Build prototypes, conduct tests, and document results for new products, redesigns, and customer-driven requests.
• Create and update standard operating procedures, troubleshoot machines, and support continuous improvement in manufacturing.
• Contribute to facility layout design and process development to improve operational efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Design, test, and support new and existing products from concept through market launch.
• Conduct market research, analyze customer needs, and assist with product-selection software design and testing.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, marketing, manufacturing, sales, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a related bachelor's degree program, such as Mechanical, Industrial, Technology, Manufacturing, or Applied Engineering.
• Expected graduation within the next three semesters or less.
• Interest in hands-on learning and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using basic hand tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D modeling software.
