Staff Manual Quality Engineer (QA/Behavioral Health SaaS): Leading manual testing for complex behavioral health software applications with an accent on functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing. Focus on designing test strategies, validating APIs and databases, mentoring QA engineers, and driving quality improvements in an Agile environment.
Location: Vadodara, India — onsite, 5 days per week; remote applicants will not be considered.

What you will do
- Lead QA planning, test execution, reporting, and release quality sign-off.
- Analyze business requirements and create test strategies, plans, cases, scenarios, and reports.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and security testing.
- Identify, document, track, and escalate defects while collaborating with Development, Product, and DevOps.
- Drive QA process improvements, risk analysis, quality practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior QA engineers, review test cases and reports, and represent QA in stakeholder meetings.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in manual testing of complex applications.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, QA methodologies, and Agile/Scrum.
- Experience with Playwright, test automation frameworks, API testing, and SQL database validation.
- Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, CI/CD tools, web technologies, TDD, and unit testing.
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
