Lead Portfolio Manager, Investments - AI Execution (AI)

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States; hybrid work with up to one day per week from home

Base salary: $122,000–$209,000 per year for Maryland, Colorado, Washington, and remote workers. Discretionary bonus eligibility may apply.

What you will do

• Lead high-value AI use cases from initiation and planning through solution design, delivery, adoption, and value realization.
• Translate AI strategy into sequenced execution roadmaps aligned with investment priorities, technology architecture, and data capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional programs spanning investment, technology, data, risk, compliance, and corporate teams.
• Manage scope, budgets, forecasts, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Prepare decision-ready recommendations and progress updates for senior leadership.
• Coach project teams and contribute to enterprise program management standards, tools, governance, and change enablement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience leading complex, multi-workstream, cross-functional programs with significant organizational impact.
• Expertise in program management, governance, planning, financial management, risk mitigation, and value tracking.
• Practical AI literacy covering use cases, delivery lifecycles, adoption, governance, and risk.
• Experience partnering with investment professionals, data and engineering organizations, and risk and compliance functions is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting research, portfolio construction, trading, or investment decision-making in an asset management environment.
• Program or project management certification or formal training, such as PMP, Agile, SAFe, or Lean.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and influencing stakeholders in complex organizations.
