The company delivers engineering, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, service, and aftermarket support for customers in food and beverage, cold storage, pharmaceutical, industrial manufacturing, and mission-critical infrastructure markets.

What you will do

• Lead the design of mechanical rooms, rooftop penthouses, piping systems, and refrigeration components for cold storage warehouses.
• Perform thermal analysis, tolerance dimensioning, structural evaluations, and other advanced engineering calculations.
• Prepare detailed drawings, coordinate design reviews, and ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with fabrication, construction, procurement, vendors, and build teams to ensure accurate manufacturing and material ordering.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support during system installation and occasionally mentor junior engineers.
• Generate bills of materials and enter specifications into the ERP system.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical system design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and refrigeration engineering principles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; occasional travel to job sites may be required.
• Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods and occasionally lift or carry items up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with sheet metal and pipe fabrication.
• EIT license or interest in pursuing a PE license.
• Experience with refrigeration systems, HVAC, or MEP design.
