IT Software Engineer Internship (Cloud/Agile)

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global corporate office in Pella, Iowa, USA

What you will do

• Contribute to software development using object-oriented programming and C#, .NET, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Support the creation and testing of RESTful APIs and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Practice secure coding, debugging, source control, and introductory CI/CD workflows.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases to retrieve, validate, and prepare application data.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Document findings, update reference materials, troubleshoot simple issues, and explore modern engineering practices.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Coursework or project exposure to web development or application frameworks using C#, .NET, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, cloud concepts, or CI/CD basics.
• Understanding of JSON and XML data formats.
• Strong curiosity, initiative, communication skills, professionalism, and willingness to learn collaboratively.
• Day-to-day work must be performed onsite at a hirify.global campus; no travel is required.
