Production Supervisor - 1st Shift - Plating Operation (Manufacturing)

Location: Andover, Massachusetts, United States; first shift, onsite production operation

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Run the first-shift plating production operation and coordinate daily production activities.
• Monitor line performance, throughput, cycle time, and scrap, taking corrective action to eliminate process problems.
• Ensure production schedules are met, resources are allocated effectively, and interruptions are resolved quickly.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance personnel to maximize equipment utilization.
• Lead focused improvement teams addressing quality, service, safety, and cost objectives.
• Develop and sustain operating procedures while tracking KPIs, gap analysis, and action-oriented improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of production experience.
• Experience implementing or enhancing teams and working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, team management, and hands-on manufacturing skills.
• Demonstrated experience with SPC, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or similar world-class manufacturing techniques.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
