What you will do
- Manage daily shipment receipt, distribution, and accounting for incoming supplier inventory.
- Run weekly cycle counts, reconcile reports, coordinate corrective actions, and report results.
- Create and maintain expendable, production, and vendor-managed Kanban systems with Operations.
- Coordinate the material kitting program and support customer-furnished property and supplier inventory processes.
- Reconcile, dispose of, and account for excess and obsolete inventory while supporting project close-out activities.
- Back up hazardous-material and inert-product shipping and support outside audit preparation.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; an AAS in Business or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Experience with inventory transactions, storage, and cycle counting.
- Experience using ERP systems to move and ship materials.
- Experience in aerospace and defense, preferably in material management.
- Microsoft Office experience, especially Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a dynamic, changing environment.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of hazardous-material shipping and movement.
- DOT CFR-49 and IATA certification.
