What you will do
- Prepare, handle, and process samples of food products and food ingredients for chemical analysis.
- Set up, run, and monitor analytical sequences using GC-FID, GC-MS, GC-TOF-MS, ICP, and liquid chromatography techniques.
- Support analytical methods including IC, CE, and GPC, while processing data, performing calculations, and evaluating results.
- Maintain quality control, documentation, reporting, and reliable laboratory records.
- Contribute to method implementation, optimization, validation, and continuous improvement projects.
- Perform routine instrument maintenance and basic troubleshooting while supporting safe daily laboratory operations.
Requirements
- Laboratory Technician degree or equivalent technical laboratory education.
- Experience in analytical chemistry and hands-on work with laboratory instrumentation.
- Strong attention to detail, structured working practices, and the ability to work independently.
- Good planning, prioritization, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Good written and spoken Danish and English are required.
- Solid IT skills, including Excel and laboratory software systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with food analysis, carbohydrates, food ingredients, or related product categories.
- Knowledge of HPLC, UHPLC, IC, CE, GPC, GC-MS, GC-TOF-MS, or ICP.
- Experience with analytical method development, optimization, or validation.
