TL;DR
Product Portfolio Specialist (Advanced Materials/SAP): Optimizing the Americas Advanced Materials product portfolio through portfolio lifecycle management, SAP Material Master updates, cost and inventory tracking, and cross-functional coordination with an accent on product data accuracy, process compliance, and portfolio performance. Focus on validating innovation pipeline projects, aligning capacity and timelines, and managing portfolio changes across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, quality, and regulatory functions.
Location: Hybrid office-based role in AFZ, Heredia, Costa Rica; office attendance is required on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with additional days as needed. Travel up to 10%.

What you will do
- Execute product portfolio management processes and track portfolio lifecycle performance.
- Maintain Advanced Materials product portfolio information in SAP and Master Data systems.
- Execute compliant portfolio changes in the SAP Material Master module.
- Review portfolio costs with procurement and manufacturing teams, and monitor project-related inventory with Supply Chain.
- Support innovation stage-gate activities and validate opportunity pipeline capacity, timelines, and Material Master data alignment.
- Maintain portfolio sample inventory and collaborate with Marketing, Technical Service, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Regulatory.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, or a related business discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience; chemical manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Experience with SAP, including the Material Master module.
- Unrestricted right to work for in Costa Rica.
- Fluent English communication skills in writing, reading, and speaking.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications, with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience supporting product portfolio management and product lifecycle optimization.

- Experience collaborating with Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams.
