Director, Design Quality - Infusion Systems (Medical Devices)

Location: Round Lake, Illinois, United States; hybrid workplace with a required minimum number of onsite days per week

Salary: $176,000–$242,000 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Lead a team of Design Quality professionals supporting product development, lifecycle management, and post-market monitoring.
• Develop and implement design quality strategies aligned with company goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Set team priorities and establish, maintain, and analyze design quality KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement and support the development and maintenance of relevant Quality System elements.
• Provide design quality expertise to cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Represent hirify.global at industry forums, conferences, and standards committees while tracking regulatory and technology developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in quality, engineering, or a related product development function.
• 7+ years of managerial experience.
• Detailed knowledge of medical device, biologics, and combination product development cycles.
• Knowledge of worldwide regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Strong quality decision-making, risk management, quality engineering, conflict resolution, and persuasive management skills.
