Associate - Corporate and Specialty Banking PM (Finance)

Location: Charlotte, NC, United States; office workplace type. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.

Salary: $63,000–$124,000 annually, plus eligibility for an incentive compensation plan.

What you will do

• Gather and analyze financial and business information to assess creditworthiness for loan and credit products.
• Complete financial spreads, risk ratings, performance tearsheets, compliance testing, and portfolio monitoring activities.
• Underwrite complex commercial loans using financial statement and collateral analysis, financial modeling, industry research, business risk evaluation, and management assessment.
• Conduct industry and market research and present key themes and conclusions in concise summaries.
• Take on portfolio management coverage responsibilities under Director-level oversight as experience develops.
• Assist with training and mentoring Analyst-level colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in an underwriting or commercial banking environment.
• FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses, or the ability to pass the SIE, Series 63, and Series 79 exams within four months of hire.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States is required; immigration sponsorship is not available.
