Senior IT Auditor (Fintech)

Location: 11550 Ent Parkway, Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States

Salary: $52–$61 per hour, plus a 15% annual target bonus.

What you will do

• Execute IT audit engagements end to end, including planning, risk assessment, walkthroughs, fieldwork, testing, reporting, and quality review.
• Test and review IT controls, staff workpapers, business information systems, security operations, technology operations, change management, and application controls.
• Conduct walkthroughs and meetings with business lines while serving as an IT subject matter expert throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Perform root cause analysis, identify control gaps, recommend solutions, and escalate risks or delays to audit management.
• Prepare audit scopes, request lists, status updates, and reports while monitoring project progress and budget-to-actuals.
• Review staff work, provide coaching and training, and use data analytics and AI-enabled techniques to improve audit coverage and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology management, business administration with an information systems focus, or a similar field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of combined experience in audit, information security, network administration, or related work involving information systems and security controls.
• At least 5 years of IT audit experience in a bank, credit union, or other financial services organization is preferred.
• Knowledge of internal auditing theory, auditing standards, IT controls, technology platforms, financial institutions, and regulatory oversight.
• Experience with network, internet, database, and technical audits, computer-assisted audit techniques, and automated audit software.
• Cert Info Sys Auditor certification and a related nationally accredited auditor designation are required within one year.
