Location: On-site in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; minimal travel may be required to support vacations and new site rollouts.
Salary: CAD 75,000–85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do
- Develop and support workplace health and safety culture with managers and employees.
- Advise managers on H&S initiatives, programs, procedures, policies, and tools.
- Inspect workplaces and practices, conduct risk analyses, and recommend preventive measures.
- Investigate work-related accidents and audit the effectiveness of preventive controls.
- Coordinate regulatory and third-party inspections, investigations, and fire-service interactions.
- Deliver and track mandatory training, onboarding support, H&S metrics, and Joint Health and Safety Committee activities.
Requirements
- College or university certificate in health and safety or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario occupational health and safety laws and regulations.
- Excellent written and oral communication, analytical, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Valid G driver's license and ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure situations.
