Quality Assurance Inspector (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot motors and motor controllers.
• Set up and operate machines during trial runs to verify settings, programmed control data, and finished work-piece conformance.
• Inspect assembly dimensions and alignment.
• Approve or reject finished products and maintain inspection records and certificates of conformance.
• Write examination reports and coordinate non-conformance resolution with engineering and production personnel.
• Develop and continuously review the quality assurance program with management.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and experience using standard electrical tools for motor wiring.
• Experience with standard measuring tools, shop calculations, and technical mathematics.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring and safe power isolation in wet environments.
• Ability to connect and operate variable frequency drives, motors, and motor controllers.
• Ability to read and fully understand blueprints and bend conduit manually or with hand-bending tools.
