Operations Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, IL — hybrid, in-person 3 days per week

Salary: $75,000–$110,000 per year, plus a discretionary performance bonus of 8–12% of base salary.

What you will do

• Track marketing project timelines and deliverables, flag risks, and keep work moving toward completion.
• Coordinate with marketing teams to confirm resources, priorities, and execution needs.
• Maintain project management systems and workflows so project status remains clear and current.
• Support budgets, purchase orders, invoicing, project reporting, and resource updates.
• Coordinate day-to-day work with external vendors and partners.
• Identify process bottlenecks and use AI tools to improve recurring workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of operations experience.
• Strong project management skills and experience with project management systems and tools.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, written communication, and verbal communication.
• Experience handling budgets, purchase orders, invoicing, and external vendor relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort using AI tools to identify efficiencies and streamline work.

Nice to have

• Experience in marketing operations or digital marketing.
• Experience with marketing automation platforms or CRM systems.
• Familiarity with budget tracking or basic financial reporting.
• Experience in fintech, trading, or regulatory industries.
