Water/Wastewater Transmissions and Utilities Project Manager

Location: Fort Worth, Texas; hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work.

What you will do

• Manage water and wastewater projects through study, design, and construction phases, including pump stations, lift stations, large-diameter pipelines, and utility work.
• Serve as the primary client contact and communicate project status, schedules, and issues.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, vendors, contractors, partner firms, communities, and technical groups.
• Lead complex studies and investigations, prepare findings reports, and select project equipment and materials.
• Coordinate work phases to meet schedule and budget constraints while advising construction managers on field issues.
• Direct project staff, review calculations and deliverables, seal drawings and reports, and maintain technical quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years of experience designing water pump stations, wastewater lift stations, and large- and small-diameter pipelines.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
• Experience providing technical oversight to engineers, technicians, designers, drafters, and field representatives.
