2027 Business Valuation Consultant Intern (Finance)

Location: United States offices in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts; principally in-person with local, national, and occasional international travel

Salary: $33.00–$36.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support valuation engagements for equity securities, business enterprises, intangible assets, and stock options.
• Interview clients and gather information relevant to valuation assignments, including through face-to-face meetings.
• Research industry value drivers, market conditions, competitors, and comparable transactions.
• Build financial models using discounted cash flow, public market multiple, M&A market transaction, and option pricing analyses.
• Assist with valuation reports from preparation through completion and communicate conclusions to clients.
• Support engagements for financial reporting, tax planning, and litigation purposes across industries including private equity, venture capital, manufacturing, technology, automotive, retail, and healthcare.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Detail-oriented approach with problem-solving, communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Face-to-face client meetings and occasional local, national, and international travel may be required.
