What you will do

• Create electrical drawings and simulations alongside engineering teams.
• Develop one-line, three-line, schematic, and general arrangement drawings for industrial projects.
• Design building electrical systems, including lighting, power, and systems coordination.
• Prepare substation physical layouts and electrical clearance designs.
• Interpret engineers’ notes and sketches and produce detailed working drawings.
• Coordinate work across engineering disciplines and contractors to deliver integrated projects.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in drafting technology or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience designing electrical one-line diagrams, circuit diagrams, and cable routing.
• Knowledge of the NEC, CAD standards, reference materials, and detailed drafting practices.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Excel, and 2D/3D design applications.
• Ability to perform basic design and calculations, use higher-level CAD commands, and maintain accuracy under strict deadlines.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
