Import/Export Analyst Contractor (Trade Compliance)

Location: Austin RiverSouth; available at office locations nationwide in the United States, with a hybrid model requiring 3 days onsite per week

What you will do

• Track export license applications and determinations through BIS systems such as SNAPR.
• Screen export orders against restricted and denied-party lists and maintain compliance records.
• Coordinate with engineering and materials teams to verify global product classifications.
• Ensure shipments have correct ECCN or ITAR munitions-list classifications.
• Classify imported goods using HTS and support valuation and country-of-origin determinations.
• Respond to CF28 and CF29 notices, support classification requests, and improve internal compliance procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to analyze import/export data and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of US Customs import regulations, EAR, ITAR, ADD/CVD, and allied trade programs.
• Proficiency with relevant trade compliance software and tracking systems.
• Availability to work onsite 3 days per week at a US office location.
