Maintenance Electrician - 3rd Shift

What you will do

• Disassemble, repair, assemble, install, and maintain stationary and portable electrical equipment.
• Install and troubleshoot conduit, wiring, AC/DC circuits, switches, fuses, controls, relays, and drive systems.
• Install, repair, and troubleshoot motors, commutators, armatures, brushes, panels, cabinets, and control equipment.
• Install and maintain lighting systems, generators, transformers, and related wiring.
• Maintain lift truck batteries, complete required reports, and keep the work area and equipment organized.
• Assist maintenance personnel with special needs and help train or direct Electrician Apprentices when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Four years of directly related electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience with AC and DC drive controls, including troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, diagrams, and instructions.
• Ability to work as a team member, communicate clearly, and demonstrate self-motivation and initiative.
• Ability to perform work according to the National Electrical Code.
