Manufacturing Technician II (Biomanufacturing)

Location: West Chester, Ohio, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $21.50–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate automated and semi-automated equipment, including pumps and mixers, and execute formulation batches.
• Perform equipment setup, assembly, disassembly, sanitization, cleaning, housekeeping, and line clearance activities.
• Complete clean-in-place and steam-in-place activities, single-use connections, parts washing, dispensing, and filter integrity testing.
• Monitor process execution, materials, supplies, and production tasks on the manufacturing floor.
• Complete batch records, GMP documentation, logbooks, calculations, and OEE data tracking.
• Collaborate with mechanic and lead technicians to resolve production issues and support preventive maintenance, lean activities, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment; experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cGMP manufacturing is preferred.
• Working knowledge of automated and semi-automated equipment and light material-handling equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to follow detailed instructions and communicate with team members.
• Attention to detail, accurate controlled-documentation skills, and basic problem-solving and mathematical abilities.
• Ability to follow SOPs and work instructions with minimal supervision, identify deviations, and escalate issues.
• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule and perform physically demanding, non-sedentary work, including moving objects with up to 100 pounds of force.

Nice to have

• High school, vocational school, or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of cGMP principles, lean manufacturing, Microsoft applications, SAP, or Veeva Vault.
