Clinical Account Executive (Pharmacy Benefits)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in-office and 2 days working from home; candidates may be based out of any U.S. Cigna Healthcare office. Overnight travel of up to 15% may be required.

What you will do

• Develop, manage, and present healthcare strategies aligned with health plan client goals and clinical and financial outcomes.
• Lead adoption of clinical solutions through client presentations, business reviews, modeling, and reporting.
• Lead custom formulary management recommendations and coordinate with account, finance, and formulary teams on rebate performance.
• Run Strategic Planning and Review Consultation meetings and support client retention, loyalty, and solution sales.
• Serve as the primary clinical resource and new-solution expert for assigned clients.
• Interpret drug trends, identify improvement opportunities, and share client feedback with internal partners.

Requirements

• Current U.S. pharmacist license required.
• At least 3 years of licensure experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of client-facing experience preferred.
• Strong presentation, communication, analytical, problem-solving, business, and client relationship skills.
• Experience managing projects, prioritizing multiple tasks, resolving complex issues, and working cross-functionally.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and the ability to learn internal reporting and analytics tools.
