Location: On-site at SCP Distributors, 2610 NE Hagan Rd., Lees Summit, Missouri. Training is held on-site, followed by required out-of-state relocation after completion in May with company-provided assistance. Travel is required 25% of the time.
Salary: $28.85 per hour in Nevada, New York, Washington, California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Hawaii; relocation or cost-of-living adjustments may also apply.

What you will do
- Complete a six-month, hands-on training program in distribution center operations, management, and purchasing.
- Work across distribution center functions and learn operating methods, procedures, and performance standards from experienced employees.
- Shadow contractors, builders, service and maintenance providers, and retail customers to understand the swimming pool, irrigation, and landscaping business.
- Attend classroom training at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, Texas, covering operations, financials, leadership, human capital management, and operating systems.
- Complete special operations projects and present program results to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs or associate degree in industrial distribution, supply chain management, management, operations, or a related discipline, with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Leadership or problem-solving experience, including qualifying internships, organizations, volunteer work, athletics, or military leadership.
- Ability and willingness to work in a distribution warehouse environment and operate or maneuver heavy machinery such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Strong leadership, team development, self-starter, problem-solving, customer service, and adaptability skills.
- Willingness and ability to relocate during and after the program at company expense.
- Ability to lift products up to 75 pounds and travel 25% of the time.

- Microsoft Office knowledge and ability to learn inventory and other software systems.
