Location: Bioggio, Canton Ticino, Switzerland; hybrid and flexible working is available for most roles.
Salary: CHF 110,000–CHF 120,000 yearly.

What you will do
- Administer Oracle Database environments, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Manage PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, and other NoSQL database platforms.
- Plan and execute database upgrades, platform migrations, cloud migrations, and consolidation initiatives.
- Implement high-availability, disaster-recovery, backup, restore, and recovery solutions across database systems.
- Monitor and optimize performance, capacity, storage, and resource utilization while troubleshooting incidents and replication issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and project teams; create technical documentation and contribute to automation and standardization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, with strong enterprise Oracle Database experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of at least one additional database technology, such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with database upgrades, platform changes, cloud migrations, backup and recovery, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with performance tuning, SQL optimization, and troubleshooting complex database issues.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments, scripting, database security, access control, and auditing.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in project-based environments.
