Payments & Partnership Operations Senior Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Identify, analyze, and prioritize initiatives that improve payment authorization rates and overall payment performance.
• Develop analytical models to predict payment declines, determine root causes, and recommend preventive actions.
• Lead payment optimization projects from opportunity assessment through implementation and post-launch analysis.
• Translate complex payment data into insights and strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations on product and operational decisions.
• Evaluate, negotiate with, and manage relationships with acquirers, processors, payment methods, and other payment partners.

Requirements

• Strong experience in payment performance, payment operations, business analytics, data analytics, or a related field.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including working with large and complex datasets.
• Solid knowledge of authorization flows, declines, acquirers, processors, issuers, card networks, and alternative payment methods.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools.
• Experience developing analytical models, monitoring frameworks, forecasts, or experiments for performance optimization.
• Advanced English communication skills. Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, present findings to senior audiences, and mentor analysts.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, e-commerce, acquiring, payment processing, banking, or card networks.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling, experimentation, machine learning, predictive analytics, fraud prevention, risk management, routing, tokenization, or payment orchestration.
• Proficiency in Python or another programming language used for data analysis.
• Experience with payment performance across multiple countries, regions, currencies, or alternative payment methods.
• Experience managing or negotiating with payment partners or providing technical leadership to analytics teams.
