Unclaimed Property Specialist (Finance)

What you will do

• Analyze and research outstanding checks in line with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and state unclaimed property guidelines.
• Act as the primary contact for escrow branches and customers, answering inquiries and resolving issues.
• Evaluate complex cases, escalate matters to management, and provide research-backed recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, mitigate risk, and increase operational efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of department processes, industry practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Two to three years of experience in unclaimed property, escrow operations, accounting, banking, title, or a related field.
• Experience with FAST and TrustLink systems.
