TL;DR
Senior Specialist, Financial Navigating (Healthcare) (Revenue Cycle Management): Guiding patients through financial services during hospitalization and for up to 30 days after discharge with an accent on Medicaid eligibility, financial assistance applications, coverage verification, and point-of-service collections. Focus on screening self-pay patients, resolving complex financial questions, improving patient financial journeys, and coordinating with case management and social workers.

Location: Onsite in Claremore, Oklahoma; candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $20.45–$22.50 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

  • Guide assigned patients through their financial journey during their hospital stay and for up to 30 days after discharge.
  • Screen self-pay patients and complete Medicaid, disability, and financial assistance applications.
  • Verify coverage, create estimates, manage point-of-service collections, and support financial clearance.
  • Triage and resolve patient financial questions through education, rounding, and real-time issue resolution.
  • Review challenging in-house cases, identify process gaps, and contribute to process improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with case management, social workers, physician liaisons, and other personnel.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of multiple revenue cycle areas, including financial counseling, public benefits, Medicaid eligibility, or patient access.
  • Experience with workqueues, worklists, denial review, payment models, and department KPIs.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, patient communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States.

  • Prior patient access or physician-based experience.
