Associate Product Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Support customer and early-adopter calls by preparing bank data analysis and capturing structured feedback.
• Analyze product usage, customer feedback, and support trends to inform roadmap priorities.
• Assist with product research, market analysis, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Map bank data during onboarding, including BAI2 and CSV files, account structures, transaction codes, and cash projection inputs.
• Diagnose bank-feed, file, and reconciliation issues and convert recurring patterns into product improvements.
• Own product testing, defect documentation, fix validation, and customer-facing help content and walkthrough videos.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in an analyst, finance, or product role, or strong internship or co-op experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis, including working with large, messy datasets and reconciling inconsistent files.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
• Curiosity about treasury operations, bank accounts, transaction types, ACH, wires, cash positions, and cash forecasting.
• Experience using AI tools in an analytical workflow, or willingness to develop this capability quickly.

Nice to have

• Exposure to treasury, banking, payments, or public-sector finance.
• Familiarity with BAI2, CSV, ISO 20022, SFTP, or API-based bank data feeds.
• Knowledge of ACH, wires, RTP, checks, and positive pay workflows.
• SQL or scripting skills, product analytics experience, or familiarity with Jira or GitLab.
• Experience onboarding or supporting customers using external data feeds or integrations.
