Senior Collections Strategy Analyst (Fintech)

Location: United States (Remote)

Salary: USD $100,000–$120,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build analytics frameworks and reporting infrastructure for post-charge-off and pre-charge-off recovery, including debt sales, third-party agencies, and debt settlement companies.
• Design, test, and optimize dialer strategies, including account prioritization, contact cadence, and channel sequencing.
• Develop digital communication strategies across email, SMS, and AI voice-agent channels while balancing recovery performance, borrower experience, and compliance.
• Establish agency KPIs and reporting cadences, maintain quarterly business reviews, and monitor settlement performance.
• Evaluate hardship programs and portfolio trends, identifying opportunities to improve borrower outcomes and reduce recidivism.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Product to turn analysis into implemented strategy and communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in quantitative analytics or strategy, ideally in collections, credit risk, recovery operations, financial services, or fintech.
• Advanced SQL skills and the ability to query large, complex datasets independently.
• Experience building Tableau or comparable BI dashboards, with advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience designing and analyzing test-and-learn experiments, including A/B tests.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with dialer or digital engagement platforms.
• Knowledge of fair lending, FDCPA, or other collections-related regulatory requirements.
• Working knowledge of Python or R for analysis or automation.
• Experience managing performance with third-party vendors or agencies.
