Base pay: $164/year–$282/year, depending on market location, skills, knowledge, and experience.

What you will do
- Architect and scale high-throughput data processing pipelines and serving infrastructure for real-time ad delivery.
- Build and improve the next-generation Ads data platform and its self-service capabilities.
- Develop scalable, resilient big data processing infrastructure and real-time services.
- Translate complex advertising logic and business strategy into distributed system architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and multicultural teams to deliver large-scale platform initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a closely related field.
- At least 6 years of backend software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.
- Experience with AWS, highly available distributed systems, and highly scalable, low-latency services.
- Experience building ad-serving systems and leading projects involving large-scale data-serving platforms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with advertising systems, search advertising, advertising marketplaces, display advertising, or ad servers.
- Experience with Spark, Hive, Redis, and Kafka.
- Experience with multithreaded and multiprocess distributed systems, Agile practices, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
