Branch Manager (Consumer Finance)

Location: Appleton, Wisconsin, United States. Office-based role with regular in-person attendance, occasional local travel, and possible extended hours or weekend work.

Salary: $39,500–$50,000 per year, based on experience and location, plus performance-based bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Manage branch goals for loan growth, tax preparation production, profitability, portfolio performance, and delinquency.
• Grow the branch through customer outreach, referrals, networking, community engagement, outbound calling, and product promotion.
• Review, approve, and close loans within company guidelines.
• Manage delinquency and collection activities to maintain portfolio performance and minimize losses.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop branch employees while managing performance expectations.
• Oversee branch operations, ensure compliance, handle escalated customer concerns, and perform required bank runs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of management experience or successful completion of a management training program.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current insurance.
• Ability to obtain required insurance licensing.
• Experience with sales, lending, collections, portfolio performance, profitability, or branch and business operations.
• Ability to work in person at the Appleton, Wisconsin branch and independently transport deposits for bank runs.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer finance, banking, retail banking, lending, credit, insurance, tax preparation, or similar financial services environments.
• Experience growing a customer portfolio, making lending or credit decisions, generating new business, and achieving sales or profitability goals.
