What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop software engineers responsible for Marketing Technology platforms, integrations, and digital capabilities.
- Partner with Marketing, CRM, Digital Commerce, Product, and Technology stakeholders to prioritize work and align delivery with business objectives.
- Guide complex initiatives spanning customer engagement platforms, e-commerce systems, cloud services, APIs, and enterprise applications.
- Facilitate technical discussions around solution approaches, tradeoffs, dependencies, risks, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Champion engineering best practices, DevOps principles, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and delivery partners while fostering accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer-focused problem solving.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams in a complex technology environment.
- Experience with Marketing Technology, CRM, customer engagement, marketing automation, or related digital customer experience platforms.
- Strong understanding of modern application architectures, APIs, integrations, cloud services, and software delivery practices.
- Experience partnering with business stakeholders on cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Familiarity with platforms and technologies such as Zeta, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, .NET, Node, Azure, or AWS.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
