Regional Category Manager (EMEA) - Grains & Sweetners (Raw Materials): Developing and executing regional sourcing strategies for grains, starches, sugar, and future yeast, enzyme, and dairy categories across EMEA with an accent on supplier partnerships, cost optimization, sustainability, and market risk management. Focus on negotiating contracts, optimizing the supplier portfolio, reducing the category CO2 footprint, and coordinating cross-functional procurement initiatives.
Location: Hybrid role based in the Asturias or Barcelona office, Spain

What you will do
- Develop and implement regional category strategies for grains, starches, sugar, and related raw materials across EMEA.
- Manage a raw materials portfolio valued at approximately €65 million, with future responsibility for yeast extracts, enzymes, and dairy categories valued at approximately €35 million.
- Conduct spend and market analysis, apply strategic sourcing methodology, and identify cost and productivity improvements.
- Build supplier partnerships and manage supplier performance, market risk, innovation, sustainability, and technology opportunities.
- Develop, negotiate, and implement contracts while minimizing supply and commercial risks.
- Collaborate with Operations, Business, Quality, Commercial, and Technical Program teams to align sourcing with business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics, science, engineering, supply chain, or equivalent experience.
- More than 4 years of experience in raw materials procurement and supplier relationship management.
- More than 4 years of procurement experience with knowledge and contacts in key markets.
- Strong business, financial analysis, commodity procurement, and hedging knowledge.
- Strong people, project management, communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English required.

- CPSM, SPSM, or a related supply chain or procurement excellence certification.
