Senior Manager, HR Applications – Workday

Location: Milpitas, California, United States; onsite at the Milpitas office

Salary: $142,000–$241,400 per year

What you will do

• Lead the strategy, roadmap, delivery, and support model for the Workday HR application suite.
• Oversee Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, Performance, Reporting, Security, and Integrations.
• Partner with HR leadership, regional teams, and IT stakeholders on HR transformation and roadmap planning.
• Lead global Workday teams, including APAC resources, technical architects, configuration teams, and support partners.
• Drive enhancements, integrations, automation, reporting, process improvements, and employee experience initiatives.
• Establish governance, release management, testing, documentation, production controls, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• Strong experience leading Workday HR applications in a global enterprise environment.
• Deep knowledge of Workday HCM and related HR modules, business processes, data governance, compliance, and global HR operations.
• Proven experience leading global, offshore, or APAC-based delivery and support teams.
• Experience managing compensation planning, benefits enrollment, payroll operations, performance cycles, and organizational changes.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience with application governance, production support, release management, change management, and audit controls.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday integrations, reporting, security, and business process configuration.
• Experience supporting global payroll, benefits, and compensation transformation programs.
• Familiarity with integrations involving ServiceNow, payroll providers, recruiting and onboarding platforms, finance systems, and employee experience tools.
• Experience with automation, AI-enabled transformation, self-service, and employee experience improvements.
• Experience managing vendor partners, implementation partners, and internal technical teams.
