Drill Site Representative (Oil and Gas)

Location: Houston, United States; 14/14 rotation for U.S. domestic assignments or 28/28 rotation for overseas assignments. Relocation and expatriate assignments will not be considered.

What you will do

• Lead daily drilling activities and supervise diverse site teams while maintaining safe, reliable, compliant, and environmentally responsible operations.
• Direct rig contractors and service providers, ensuring adherence to approved procedures, permits, contractual obligations, and hirify.global requirements.
• Manage drilling operations, wellsite logistics, operational readiness, and delivery of the drilling program.
• Ensure WellSafe requirements, well control, well integrity, and barrier assurance, including response to well control events.
• Use WellView, Corva, Polarion, and approved performance tools to monitor and optimize drilling performance.
• Drive continuous improvement through performance reviews, lessons learned, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of oil and gas drilling experience, including supervision of unconventional drilling operations.
• Leadership experience with diverse field teams and a demonstrated commitment to safety, reliability, operational assurance, risk management, and compliance.
• Current Well Control Certification or the ability to obtain and maintain it.
• Extensive Spanish proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale unconventional development, factory drilling, and horizontal wells exceeding 10,000 feet in lateral length.
• Knowledge of drilling rig equipment, systems, and optimization practices.
• Experience supporting operations across multiple U.S. unconventional basins and proficiency with WellView, Corva, and Polarion.
