Service Administrator (Manufacturing)

Location: Farmingdale, New York, United States; on-site role

Salary: $47,437–$74,981 annually, with a possible annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium for eligible alternative shifts.

What you will do

• Control customer equipment returned for repair or modification from receipt through shipping.
• Determine warranty status, prepare repair work orders, and move products through the repair process.
• Coordinate workflow priorities with Quality Assurance, Program Management, and Service Management.
• Expedite repairs, materials, receiving, shipping, subcontractor work, and purchase requisitions.
• Track job progress, report repair status and projected delivery, and remove schedule bottlenecks.
• Review engineering change notices and provide inputs to the Commercial Asset Visibility system when applicable.

Requirements

• High school diploma, associate's degree, or equivalent education.
• 1–3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of PCs and software applications.
• Ability to interact with management, coworkers, subordinates, and customers.
• Ability to interpret engineering documentation, bills of material, and product change notices.
• Must comply with US export-control policies and applicable ITAR, EAR, and OFAC requirements; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
