Healthcare Project Architect (Healthcare)

Location: San Antonio or Dallas, Texas, United States. Semi-regular travel to project sites is required.

What you will do

• Lead multidisciplinary teams and perform architectural layout and detailing across multiple project phases.
• Coordinate team workloads, project documents, owner and client meetings, agency reviews, and code compliance activities.
• Conduct project-site work sessions with the Project Manager and other disciplines.
• Review architectural documents for interdisciplinary conflicts and perform QA/QC and technical reviews.
• Write and edit architectural specifications and coordinate addenda, RFIs, CPRs, change orders, and document updates.
• Provide construction contract administration and lead projects in a dual management role when needed.

Requirements

• Experience as a project architect coordinating multidisciplinary architectural work.
• Ability to manage project documentation and schedules through multiple phases.
• Experience coordinating with owners, clients, governing agencies, and construction teams.
• Willingness to travel semi-regularly to project sites.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Architecture.
• Experience with healthcare, educational, civic, science, or research facilities.
• Experience or interest in sustainable design and LEED.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, 3-D Studio Max, Rhino, and Grasshopper.
