RCMS Configuration Specialist I (Healthcare SaaS)

Location: Hybrid schedule in Tampa or Nashville; remote candidates will not be considered.

What you will do

• Support new customer revenue cycle implementations from kickoff through go-live.
• Assess billing workflows and configure insurance, self-pay, institutional billing, claims, reimbursement, and reporting functionality.
• Set up and maintain EDI clearinghouse configurations across multiple EHR and RCMS services.
• Conduct billing analysis, workflow sessions, customer training, configuration reviews, and payer testing.
• Resolve billing denials, rejections, configuration issues, and customer inquiries while maintaining ownership through resolution.
• Coordinate multiple implementation projects, maintain project documentation, and collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience using EHR applications for medical billing, behavioral healthcare billing, or revenue cycle operations.
• Healthcare billing experience and knowledge of CMS billing requirements and formats.
• Knowledge of UB-04 institutional billing requirements.
• Basic understanding of clearinghouse EDI relationships, payer enrollment, claims submission, and revenue cycle workflows.
• Strong customer service, facilitation, communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Nice to have

• Behavioral health billing experience.
• SaaS or cloud implementation experience.
• EHR/EMR implementation or configuration experience.
• Knowledge of a hirify.global software platform.
• CPB certification and familiarity with CCBHC, HIPAA, and state-specific billing requirements.
