Estimator II (Demolition)

Location: Rogers, Minnesota, United States; primarily office-based with required jobsite and client-meeting travel, including occasional overnight stays.

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Review plans, specifications, and jobsites to determine project scope and estimating requirements.
• Complete earthwork and hand takeoffs, calculate quantities, and determine material and material-movement needs.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and material quotes, including DBE/MBE requirements.
• Build bids by adding activities, crews, equipment, and production rates in HeavyBid.
• Prepare and deliver final bid proposals to owners or general contractors within required timelines.
• Determine bid results and work with the Project Manager after project award.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or 3–5 years of bidding and estimating experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Proficiency with construction bidding and project management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with company policies and procedures.

• Working knowledge of AGTEK and HCSS software.
