TL;DR
Advocacy and Regulatory Manager TSS Europe (Refrigeration) (EU regulatory advocacy and refrigeration): Developing and executing regulatory advocacy strategies for Chemours’ Thermal & Specialized Solutions portfolio with an accent on EU legislation, F-Gas regulation, sustainability, and refrigeration-sector policy. Focus on analyzing regulatory developments, influencing policy outcomes through technical working groups, and aligning advocacy strategies with industry and value-chain partners.

Location: Germany - Neu Isenburg; preferably Germany or Belgium, with hybrid workplaces. Other locations may be considered.

Salary: €84,000–€131,375 gross annually, plus an annual bonus target.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute technical regulatory advocacy strategies aligned with Thermal & Specialized Solutions business priorities.
  • Monitor and analyze EU legislative and regulatory developments and advise internal stakeholders on business impacts.
  • Represent hirify.global in EU and national technical working groups, including EPEE and EFCTC, and in HVACR associations.
  • Engage with EU institutions, Member States, regulatory bodies, OEMs, technical organizations, and value-chain partners.
  • Present technical and advocacy positions at industry events and policy forums.
  • Collaborate with Advocacy, Government Affairs, Technology, Business Development, and Sustainability teams; support internal training and communication.

Requirements

  • University degree; a master's degree is preferred. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering background is advantageous.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the refrigeration industry or related sectors.
  • Experience working in international or multinational matrix organizations and multicultural, cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent English and German are mandatory.
  • Familiarity with F-Gas regulation, ECHA processes, or refrigeration-related standards.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%, depending on location.

Nice to have

  • Education or experience in thermodynamics.
  • Experience in regulatory strategy or influencing chemical substance regulation.
  • Previous experience in trade associations or EU regulatory agencies.
  • Knowledge of broader chemical regulatory frameworks and international policy, economics, and legislative processes.
  • An additional European language.
