TL;DR
Director, Enterprise Software (.NET) (Enterprise Architecture and SaaS): Defining and delivering enterprise services and applications for behavioral health software with an accent on scalable architecture, engineering leadership, and cloud-native modernization. Focus on designing containerized microservices and serverless applications, enforcing reliability and security standards, and leading predictable delivery across engineering, QA, Product Management, DevOps, and Infrastructure.
Location: Hybrid in Nashville or Tampa, United States; remote candidates will not be considered.

What you will do
- Define and evolve enterprise architecture vision, standards, and guidelines for services and applications.
- Lead architecture and development teams while mentoring architects, technical leads, and engineering managers.
- Partner with QA, Product Management, DevOps, and Infrastructure to deliver reliable software on predictable timelines.
- Set and enforce non-functional requirements covering scalability, performance, security, reliability, and observability.
- Drive improvements in delivery quality, velocity, efficiency, platforms, processes, and tooling.
- Define and track KPIs for team health, delivery performance, and technical quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience managing software architecture and development teams on large-scale systems and digital transformation initiatives.
- 15+ years of hands-on experience designing and building scalable web and mobile software solutions.
- Experience applying Model-Driven Development and Domain-Driven Design in structured delivery environments.
- Strong experience building containerized microservices with .NET Core and serverless applications such as AWS Lambda.
- Experience with DevOps toolchains and application monitoring or logging platforms such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, CircleCI, ELK, New Relic, or Splunk.
Nice to have
- Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 or FHIR.
- Experience modernizing monolithic or legacy systems into cloud-native, microservices-based architectures.
- Ability to influence product and platform roadmaps through technical insight.
