Payroll Support Specialist

Location: Little Rock, Arkansas, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Maintain and review payroll systems for accurate, timely processing of salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and deductions.
• Prepare payroll reports for management, including earnings, deductions, and tax liabilities.
• Assist with payroll processing, employee data updates, payment verification, and 401K support.
• Support garnishments, child support orders, wage audits, payroll tax setup, payments, and agency notices.
• Maintain payroll reporting for general ledger entries and assist with quarterly and year-end payroll audits.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation audits by providing payroll, tax, contractor, and financial documentation.

Requirements

• Two to three years of related payroll experience.
• Familiarity with payroll software and systems; UKG Ready is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
