Senior Data Engineer (Streaming)

Location: Miami, Florida office; must be authorized to work in the United States

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines with Airflow, Python, SQL, and dbt.
• Build and optimize data models and workflows supporting analytics, reporting, machine learning, and product initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, availability, governance, and observability across the data ecosystem.
• Partner with product managers, data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize data storage, processing, and orchestration for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Mentor junior data engineers, contribute to architecture and engineering practices, and participate in technical interviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or big data environments.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills with experience building production-grade data pipelines.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform; AWS is also considered.
• Experience with Airflow, dbt, infrastructure as code tools such as Pulumi or Terraform, and distributed processing with Spark.
• United States work authorization and willingness to work from the Miami, Florida office are required; employment and education verification is required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting machine learning and data science workflows.
• Familiarity with data observability, data quality frameworks, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience in subscription-based, media, streaming, or digital product organizations.
