Field Specialist, Night (Oil and Gas)

Location: Hobbs, New Mexico, United States of America; 14/14 residential or rotational schedule with dedicated night shifts.

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain oil and gas production equipment and facilities.
• Monitor and optimize production process variables to maintain equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Support gas lift systems, high-pressure gas lift systems, rod pumping, flowing wells, dehydration units, and compressors.
• Test wells and safety devices, acquire fluid-level information, record data, and monitor SCADA control systems.
• Respond to environmental, safety, and production concerns across new development and legacy base routes.
• Create work orders and support inventory management and work planning through a computerized maintenance management system.

Requirements

• Must work in Hobbs, New Mexico, United States on a 14/14 residential or rotational schedule and dedicated night shifts.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of current related experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industries.
• Ability and willingness to work on-call shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Employment visa sponsorship is not available, and applicants on time-limited visa status will not be considered.

Nice to have

• Three years of current experience in shale and tight unconventional oil and gas operations.
• Experience with pneumatic and electronic instrumentation, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of MS Office, CMMS, and SCADA, with the ability to learn new software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work with minimal supervision, and collaborate with coworkers, contractors, and customers.
