What you will do
- Assess emerging transportation needs, potential causes, barriers, related issues, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee project engineering deliverables, solution design, task delegation, and execution.
- Monitor project quality assurance and quality control activities and serve as a quality control reviewer or senior advisor.
- Lead brainstorming and continuous improvement initiatives to develop innovative project approaches.
- Engage stakeholders and manage strategic client and customer relationships.
- Clarify client needs and identify emerging requirements and future project opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable engineering or applied science field.
- At least 8 years of roadway design experience and 2 years of progressive project management experience.
- Texas Professional Engineering license.
- Strong technical skills in roadway and drainage design.
- Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads/OpenRoads Designer.
Nice to have
- Experience working with the Texas Department of Transportation.
- Understanding of TxDOT design requirements and LGPP projects.
