What you will do
- Collaborate with project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects.
- Develop roadway alignment, profiles, and geometric designs.
- Design drainage systems and prepare project plans.
- Develop construction cost estimates.
- Assist with technical reports, specifications, and engineering calculations.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering field.
- EIT certification or the ability to obtain it.
- Candidates hired without an EIT will use the title Highway/Roads Designer and are expected to obtain the certification for career progression.
- Local candidates are preferred.
