What you will do
- Analyze clinical data to identify utilization trends, cost drivers, prevalence, risk, and population health outcomes.
- Prepare clinical analyses, reporting metrics, and client deliverables for healthcare consultants, brokers, and existing or prospective customers.
- Collaborate with clinical strategy consultants, health management consultants, client managers, internal departments, and external vendors.
- Design, maintain, and improve reporting that communicates clinical capabilities, product recommendations, outcomes, and member engagement strategies.
- Research health, wellness, productivity, risk, and care management trends and share relevant insights.
- Support clinical inquiries, RFP/RFI responses, internal workgroups, and annual process improvement projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related clinical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a clinical or managed care setting.
- At least 3 years of experience analyzing clinical outcome data and managing projects.
- Experience designing outcome reporting and using reporting tools, including Cognos, Analytics Navigator, and similar databases.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, business acumen, and conflict and crisis management skills.
- Registered Nurse (RN) certification is preferred or required as specified for the position.
